And yet, data shows we are significantly below average in terms of degree attainment and average salary. 

Our families migrated to the US for better opportunities but still, our communities lack understanding of the systems that help us advance.

I am tired of seeing our communities survive. I want to see Latines thrive. 

My mission is to provide Latines and other BIPOC the resources, career pathway, and motivation they need to live a life of fulfillment and impact.

Hi, I’m Desery

I’m a proud chicana – born and raised in southern California to a loving Mexican family who celebrates with the best carne asada parties. As a first generation college student, I was grateful for the opportunity to gain an education and driven to make my family proud. 

After 10 years of experience as a Life Coach, I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Leadership in Education where I learned the number one determinant of success in both college and career is social capital - the connections to the right people and opportunities.
